Bridgewater's Idyllic Italy is not a faceless conglomerate of companies nor a soulless bank of computers, rather an enthusiastic, family run company, now in our second generation. Barry and Christine Pearson began renting villas on Tuscany's golden coast in 1973. This area of Italy still remains our specialist area of expertise although today we are pleased to offer the same level of service and quality accommodation in other beautiful areas of Italy. 

Over the years we have built up a reputation for a truly personal service based on an unrivalled knowledge of the properties and areas we offer. Many of our properties can be booked online but here at Bridgewater we believe that people offer a personal service which computer's can't! We have many more properties available to book than are shown on our website! Should your search for specific dates return no properties or you can't find excatly what you are looking for, please contact us! MEET YOUR BRIDGEWATER'S IDYLLIC ITALY TEAM:

 
 CHRISTINE PEARSON: Managing Director
Christine is fluent in Italian and has lived in Italy for many years before settling with her family in the UK. Herself and her husband Barry began their careers in Marina di Pietrasanta in 1973. Barry is now retired from the business and concentrates on his business (Italian property sales) whereas Christine is very much at the helm loving every minute of promoting such a wonderful part of the world, in particular, Pietrasanta and the Tuscan coast which remains 'Our special part of Italy'.

 

 

NICOLA PEARSON: Marketing Manager & accommodation specialist
Nicola speaks Italian and has a Masters in Design Management.  She has been part of the Bridgewater Team since she graduated from Uni in 2000. Nicola has spent every summer in Italy since she was born and lived in Pietrasanta, Tuscany running our Italian office in 2005 and 2006.  Nicola now has her own family and they too enjoy their summers 'Under The Tuscan sun'.  

 

 

                                       

LUCY PEARSON: Manager of Italian operations & accommodation specialist
Lucy graduated from Leeds Uni and worked with the BBC before joining the family business in 2007.  She is an Italian speaker and spends 6 months in the UK and the other 6 months in Italy sourcing new properties and running Bridgewater's Italian operations.
