La Porta Bianca is a newly finished luxury property with uncomparable views of the bay of Portovenere. The property occupies the entire first floor of one of the most antique villas in the area.
The villa is in a dominating position just outside the typical fisherman’s village, the location really is fantastic - walking distance from the centre of Portovenere with truly enchanting views. A property well worth visiting.
La Porta Bianca has been finished in a very contemporary style - white walls and furntiure create bright rooms, putting the focus on the picture perfect bay just across from the property.
There is a wonderful garden for dining outdoors whilst absorbing the atmosphere of the picturesque bay. The kitchen is furnished with good quiality stainless steel appliances, corian countertops, flat screen cable tv, slate floors, air-conditioning and wireless internet are just some of the amenities!
Upon entering the private gate there is a charming lawned garden area. This area has been gated with a crystal barrier that allows full views of the sea less than 200 m. away. There are lemon, tangerine, and grapevines for shade - creating a kaleidescope of colours and scents. Sunloungers are provided for relaxing on the well groomed lawn whilst enjoying the mediterranean weather.
A marble staircase leads up to the front balcony and into the main entrance of the apartment. Upon entering the apartment there is a spacious central room: the apartment radiates off this central room.
The entire apartment has been furnished with light grey slate floors. All-white furnishings and linens give the whole place a very bright and clean feel.
The living area is comfortably furnished and there is a flat screen tv with satellite service. A dining table divides the living room area and the modern kitchen. The room has also two large windows, making the property very bright and airy along with uncomparable views of the Poets’ Gulf.
The kitchen has state of the art appliances, large stainless steel oven, espresso maker and refrigerator with ice-maker. From the kitchen there is a door which leads outside and a paved area - illuminated at night - which wraps around the apartment. Leading off from this area there is an outdoor kitchen, b-b-q, washing room and an outdoor dinner table for dining whilst enjoying the breath taking views.
To the left of the living room there is a large bedroom with three single beds. The beds can be arranged according to each clients needs (either 3 singles or 1 double and 1 single). The second smaller bedroom is to the right and has a queen size bed, a built in closet and a small en-suite bathroom with a shower. Both of these rooms face the front of the property and offer wonderful sea views directly from the beds!
The third bedroom and second bathroom are just off the kicthen area. The third bedroom has a double bed and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is just beside the bedroom
Whilst the double bedrooms are not spacious, what they lack in space they make up for in charm.
There is a steep staircase that leads up to the villa’s entrance, which is about 30 steps up from the street level.
Parking is available at the Grand Hotel parking garage for an extra fee, but it should be requested ahead of time so that the space can be reserved.

A LITTLE NOTE: It should be noted that both of the double bedrooms are quite small, especially the bedroom with the ensuite bathroom (customers must be informed of that ahead of time). There is also a steep staircase that actually leads up to the villa's entrance, which is about 30 steps up from the street level.
