Magnificent farmhouse divided into 6 independent properties, of which four are for rental, and surrounded by a large, well-maintained 20,000 m2 park-like garden with grass areas and olive groves. The extremely central location is not far from the medieval castle city of Montecarlo, famous for its DOC (registered designation of origin) wine and walking distance from Marginone (1 km.), a small village which offers several restaurants right from the well-known and upmarket Alla Locanda di Pier Antonio, through pizzerias and bars/cafés, to the Trattoria Belvedere eatery only 150 metres from the Fornello house. It’s not at all easy to find such a superbly-restored place surrounded by splendid scenery and situated only walking distance from everything.
The spot is ideal for children with its large, green flat spaces for ball games, area on the edge of the wood with playground equipment, children’s pool, and walking distance to food outlets and shopping.
Fornello has been completely refurbished with fancy bathrooms and made cosy with light, country furniture. Each apartment has its own colour scheme, and features antique wooden beams in the ceilings, and attractive terracotta stone floors, providing for just the desired Tuscan atmosphere. Excellent high quality interiors.
Each apartment also has its own furnished outdoor area with the option of barbecuing.
A little off from the house and in a raised position is the outstanding split swimming pool, with one division of 12.5x6.5 m. and depth of 1.40 m., beside the children’s pool of 6.5x6.5 m. with a depth of 0.8 m.
Two small changing rooms are sited by the pool and the terrace is equipped with deck chairs.
The pool is in use from 8 May until 16 October 2010 and is shared by the apartments. Children must be supervised at all times.
Guests enjoy air-conditioning, wireless Internet, use of a shared washing machine and tumble-drier. Parking is available on-site.
The Rosso apartment is on the first floor and features:

The price is for 4 people. For a larger number you’ll pay EUR 80 per week/bedplace directly to the owners. Children under the age of 3 years use cots for free.
The price includes towels, linen, power and water consumption, air-conditioning, as well as Internet.
The price does not include an obligatory final clean at EUR 40 per apartment.
The price does not include any heating, which is settled with the owners based on use.
Please pay the EUR 300 per apartment deposit to the owners on arrival.
