Villa Rosemarino was designed by a famous Italian
Architect and built in the late 50s.
Today it provides a comfortable and relaxing holiday home with stunning sea views.
Situated in a priveleged position, the villa is located at the entrance of Portovenere village
on top of the promontory, mid way on the coastline; it can be easily reached on
foot either from above, from access road to the village and car parking area or
from the beach level.
The property has a
large terraced area shaded by sun umbrellas and a large patio in front of
a magnificent large dining area with wide windows opening on to the garden
and a splendid view oout across to sea and the island of Palmaria.
Access to the villa from the car parking
area is through and outdoor stair until we reach the upper garden of the
villa. From the upper garden we go down a few steps to the main floor
of the accommodation that offers a large sitting and dining room area with
fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine, electric
oven and microwave oven), a double/twin bedroom and a bathroom. Close to
Kitchen area we have an indoor staircase that leads us to the lower floor
of the villa with 2 twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and 1 bathroom. From the lower floor we have access to another terrace and to a path that takes
down to beaches level.
Boat can be rented in the village and public boats depart regularly from
village pier to reach Lerici, La Spezia, Cinque Terre and Portofino.

Liguria offers over 200 miles of picturesque coastline, which stretches form the French border over across the boundary with Tuscany. Formerly a haven of Pirates, who would shelter their ships amongst the narrow rocky inlets, Liguria has since become a mecca, not only for the rich and famous, but also for those looking for a relaxing, sun drenched beach holiday in Italy. The deep-water ports that once held Pirate vessels now hold deluxe yachts from all over the world.
