This charming building dates back to the XVII century and was probably a place where travellers on their way to Montalceto (a nearby spring) used to stop over.

Villa Trequanda perches on the crest of a hill from where you can enjoy splendid views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside encompassing several hill-top villages such as Siena, Montalcino, the cathedral of St. Anna in Camprena, and the castle of Gallico. It is the ideal base from which to explore the best that this area of central Tuscany has to offer with Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Cortona being within easy reach; the sea is only 130 km away and the interesting and attractive wine regions of the Chianti Classico, Brunello and Nobile, are half an hour drive away.

The villa is 535 sqm and has 2 spacious logge (one with pizza oven) and a panoramic 73sqm terrace from where you can dine ‘al fresco’ and take in the view.

ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES: The ground floor is composed of: a well equipped professional kitchen, the dining room, the living room with fireplace, a second living room, the reading room and a suite. A travertine staircase leads to the arched loggia from where we can reach the other 7 bedrooms and a small sitting room.
All the 8 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom (2 of them with jacuzzi), telephone and minibar.

Situated in the garden, near the main villa, there is an old barn completely renovated composed which can sleep an extra 4 people for an extra cost. Accommodation consists of a living room with fire place and kitchen corner, two double bedded rooms and two bathrooms with bath and jacuzzi. (This apartment is only rented together with the main villa ).

At the guests’ disposal there is the beautiful swimming pool (20 x 9 m, depth 1.20-1.50m) with Jacuzzi and solarium.

The main produce of the farm is the excellent organic extra virgin olive oil as well as very rare “white truffles” that grows in the area.
